Welcome!  I’m so thankful you stopped by for a visit.  We are a family of book lovers, and my vision for this blog is to provide educational ideas that cultivate learning through the beauty of living books.  We use a variety of books to meet our own homeschooling needs and have found real books to be the best teachers – better than any textbook.  My children retain more, discover more, and yearn for more when we are learning from books, and we want to share our journey with you!

A little about our family…

We are a homeschooling family of six.  We love Jesus and love to learn more about Him through the Bible.  We’ve been homeschooling for over 10 years, and, though at times homeschooling is the most challenging decision I’ve ever made, it’s also one of my favorite decisions!

I’d love to welcome you into our home as we continue to learn together.  Our youngest just started Kindergarten, so we still have a long way to go!

My desire is to share our learning experiences with you through anything that tells a story: books, poems, videos, and a variety of other story-telling methods.  If it tells a good story and teaches quality lessons, we want to make them accessible to you.  I’ll do the research for you, and you can stop by with your favorite cup of coffee or tea and indulge in storytelling goodness.
